Sing A New Song (Voice(s)/Accompaniment)

Sing a new song has been produced by Sing Up, together with the Choir School's Association and the Musicians Benevolent Fund, as a resource aimed at children's choirs wishing to take on challenging repertoire written specially for young voices and adult singers. Inspired by the work of Chorister Outreach Programmes, the three pieces featured in this resource and the accompanying CD have been composed by three leading British composers (Christopher Fox, Sally Beamish and Ronald Corp) to provide young choirs with songs which are appropriate for both classroom singing and more formal performance occasions. Including sophisticated music, teaching tips and ideas, Sing a new song is ideal for those groups ready to take the next step in choral performance.
