Christmas Stars: the Xmas factor! is a wonderful Christmas production which will entertain your children and your audience. Two angels narrate comically as we go back in time to the very first nativity, with God holding auditions for the key parts. Everyone does well apart from Herod who reckons he should be the King of Kings! You can even add a ‘panel of judges’ if you like. There’s plenty of fun as well as some poignant moments as the story unfolds and, after several hiccups, everything concludes in a beautiful tableau. The six new songs are catchy and vary from lullaby to rock.
This accompanying CD includes high quality performance tracks as well as complete backing tracks to perform alongside. Also available is a music book with piano/guitar accompaniments and lyrics to each of the six songs, plus a word book containing song lyrics and a play with parts for plenty of children: everything you need to make a celebration to remember. Christmas Stars can also be easily simplified for smaller casts, and would also be enjoyed by teenagers and families.
